Olivia, well said. One of my favorite quotes is "kindness is the highest form of intelligence"

Cloyed, I can't imagine what you were going through in those three hours. Praise be to God!

You were right when you said that York Maine is a nice town. We recently returned from York after spending 4 weeks there doing repairs on my daughter’s summer home.
We enjoyed touring York, when I wasn’t working “which was most of the time”. The beaches are big and clean. Harbor beach is our favorite, just a few min walk. The people are friendly. We walked to St. Christopher’s Church the first Sunday there and they just happened to have a parish breakfast after mass. The people at our breakfast table went out of their way to tell us about all the things to do and see, and told us where the dog parks are and hidden ponds and other public places that only the locals know.
Good restaurants too, we enjoyed the River Landing “request an outside table to view the river”, the Dockside Restaurant and Lobster Cove were good too. My favorite though is the Lobster Outlet, where you can call in your lobster order, steamers, shrimp etc and then pick them up in 20 min to eat at home. I wanted to try Foster’s but they weren’t open to the public the evenings we went. We’ll try them on our next visit, which I think may be next week if I can work out our schedule.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and memories of Jeanette. I did not know Jeanette and your comments help in my prayers.

Congrats! I'm looking at a Travel Trailer to do the same. I LOVE backpacking, but my wife prefers the Marriott. The camper would be a compromise.

Janis sat next to me in home room. I have such happy memories talking and laughing with her. She had a sweater that was multi colored and one day I commented that her sweater was "noisy" with all those colors going on, and we laughed so hard that we both got yelled at. Ever since that day whenever she wore that sweater and we looked at each other we'd bust out laughing. I am very sad to hear of her passing. My prayers go out to her and her loved ones. Maybe I’ll see that sweater again when all the colors appear more radiant!
Hi Paul. Still grouse hunting in PA?
